This demonstration and workshop is designed to highlight key technologies now deployed to visualise and better understand the world around us, such as drones (UAS) and other remote sensing (satellite imagery) and 3D scanning approaches (Lidar). Drawing on ACU research projects in archaeology and geography, this event will demonstrate how these technologies have the potential to reshape our understanding of our planet and human history, and we will explore how these technologies can feed into education and the classrooms of the present and future.
